  • Last Man Standing is coming to an end after nine wonderful seasons.

  • Ahead of the finale on Thursday, May 20, the show posted a particularly heart-wrenching clip that has fans feeling emotional.

When Last Man Standing wasn’t picked up for the 10th season, fans everywhere started to sulk over how their favorite sitcom would end. And now that the end is actually in sight, with the series finale scheduled for Thursday, May 20, emotions are at an all-time high. Just ahead of the final episode, the Last Man Standing Instagram account posted a heart-wrenching clip that’s all too relatable (and emotionally triggering) for fans.

In the clip, Mandy Baxter (played by Molly McCook) is shown wiping away tears while sorting through a box of old photo albums. Her dad, Mike Baxter (played by Tim Allen), asks her what she’s thinking. After stumbling through her words, she says “It’s just all of this, you know” while gesturing to everything.

“You and I, we always try to find something we’re both interested in but nothing ever sticks,” she tells him.

“Well, that’s now how I see it,” he responds. “There are a lot of amazing things that I’ve done that I would’ve never done had you not dragged me into it… We may not have a big special thing but a lot of little special things, you and I.”

Needless to say, the tearful clip instantly hit a soft spot for many followers and fans.

“LMS is today's Andy Griffith show. A message in every show. Gonna miss it,” one fan wrote.

“So sad that it's all ending 😢 one of my favorite shows of all time I love you all ❤️❤️❤️ thanks for all the Memories and laughter,” another commented.

“So sad this show is ending. It was truly my favorite,” someone else chimed in.

Let this be your reminder that you’ll probably need to stock up on tissues.
