Tomi Lahren roasted after telling Megan Rapinoe 'you're not a hero': 'What exactly have you done with your pathetic life?'
Though many are hailing Megan Rapinoe and her World Cup-winning teammates on the U.S. women’s soccer team as heroes, Tomi Lahren is sitting out the celebrations.
On Tuesday, the conservative commentator — who last week called Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez a “disgrace” for speaking out about harassment by border patrol officers — lashed out at the athlete on Twitter. Rapinoe has sparked conservative ire by silently protesting during the national anthem and criticizing the Trump administration.
That doesn’t sit well with Fox Nation personality Lahren, who has tangled on Twitter with the likes of Alyssa Milano and Cardi B. According to Lahren, Rapinoe has put her political beliefs before the country she represents.
“You’re not a hero,” she tweeted. “You’re a virtue-signaling soccer player with a chip on her shoulder and an attitude problem. Get over yourself.”

Rapinoe’s fans came out in full force to defend the sports star.
She is a hero, and soccer kids everywhere look up to her including mine because of her accomplishments.
