Tracee Ellis Ross Is Wearing Pink and Purple Feathers in Her Hair Ahead of the People's Choice Awards

Tracee Ellis Ross took a walk down memory lane this weekend. The 48-year-old actor was named Fashion Icon of 2020 ahead of Sunday's People's Choice Awards, and to celebrate, she's been sharing some of her most incredible fashion and beauty moments from over the years on Instagram. To top it off, she posted photos of what might just be her look for the award show, and as usual, it's a knockout.

Amid posting throwbacks on her Story, Ross revealed several glamour shots of herself posing in a bathtub on her grid. "Taking my fashion bath for tonight's festivities ...a day worth sparkles and feathers," reads the first half of the caption. "Tune in tonight cause @peopleschoice is giving ya girl a fancy award. I'm a fashion icon y'all ☺️ #PCAs some fun stuff up in my story!!!"

In the stunning snapshots, Ellis is wearing a sparkly lavender jumpsuit and pink heels, along with makeup and hair accessories to match. On her lids, for instance, you can see she's wearing light purple eye shadow, and on her lips, she's sporting a bright bubblegum-pink hue. Then, of course, there's the pink and purple feathers in her slicked-back bun — a detail that adds a really fun, statement-making effect.

While Ellis didn't tag anyone in her post, it's likely that her longtime hairstylist Araxi Lindsey is responsible for her super-cool feather look. It's worth noting that not only do the feathers match her outfit perfectly, but they're also a great way to spice up an average sleek bun.
