Abilene’s Juneteenth celebration is continuing to grow! We learn what you can expect at this year’s two-day celebration.

Juneteenth 2024 Schedule

Tuesday-

Free Fish Fry with Fish, Fries, and Hush Puppies
6:00 pm- Welcome with Speaker Johnny Hatton
6:30 pm- Kickball with Dyess AFB
7:30 pm- Amplify Your Voice
8:30 pm- Live Music Mix by DJ Skidd, Lady Devine, and DJ Bigg

Wednesday-

9:00 am- Freedom Trail Run
10:00 am- Speaker Pastor Lubin and Basketball Skill Camp
11:00 am- Free Grab & Go Lunch with BBQ Sandwhiches, Chips, Drinks, and Cookies
1:00 pm- Kidz Zone: Face Painting, Bounce Houses, Tug of War, Dummy Steer Roping, & More
2:00 pm- Adult Panel Discussion with Terrence Crisp
3:00 pm- History Trivia & Education
4:00 pm – 7:00 pm- Free Haircuts with Willie Kershaw
