Ulla Johnson and Sisley Paris Team Up on a Cute Leather Bag to Hold All Your Skincare

In a world of endless beauty and fashion collaborations, here’s one that makes sense: Ulla Johnson and Sisley Paris. The parallels between New York and Paris have long been noted, and this joining of forces—matching Johnson’s refined Manhattan-born fashion label with the luxury French beauty brand—perfectly mixes the two major metropolises.

While the two companies have a history of working together backstage at Johnson’s runway shows, this new launch marks their first official collaboration, and it’s as sophisticated as you would expect.

The two reimagined Johnson’s iconic wave bag in a larger size—so it could fit all the designer’s favorite Sisley products and everyday essentials—and a rich saddle brown. “We wanted everything to be multifunctional,” Johnson says. “The clutch is large enough to hold everything you need and can also be worn as a crossbody, while the interior pouch can be used separately for travel.” The removable interior pouch features a bohemian floral print with pops of purple, green, and orange—a tribute to Johnson’s classic yet elevated style.

“Working on this bag felt like a natural progression to elevate our partnership, which is based on a genuine admiration [for each other] and mutual synergies,” says Christine d’Ornano, Sisley Paris’s global vice president. “While Ulla’s clothes work to boost people’s confidence, Sisley products can have the exact same impact. The launch’s edit of products includes the cult-favorite Black Rose Mask—Johnson’s favorite product from the French beauty brand, and the secret to the fresh, glowy skin she sends down the runways. “I have long admired the Black Rose Mask, and I discovered the other products in our kit when we started working together for [my] shows,” the designer says. Also included are Sisley’s Black Rose Eye Contour Fluid, luxe Nutritive Lip Balm, and All Day All Year skin protection formula (which shields skin from pollutants and other environmental stressors).

The Sisley × Ulla Johnson Adria Pleated Wave bag, along with the Sisley Paris edit, is available now at sisley-paris.com and retails for $1,600.
