Video of Paralyzed Dog Adjusting to New Life Full of Love Is So Beautiful Yet Sad

We're just so happy he's in the care of someone who loves him now.

There are just some videos that make your day and remind you of how rewarding it is to give a dog in need a new forever home. And no pup deserves a forever home more than dogs that have been abused, neglected, or may require extra attention and care to live their best dog lives.

Warning: if you love dogs and you adore rescue dogs, you may want to have Kleenex on hand for this video. Get ready to meet Pidgeon, one of the sweetest, most joyful rescue babies we have ever seen. Mom, @pidgeonpup, has a caption on the video that reads "Things I've done since you gave me up." You'll want to weep after seeing this.

Pidgeon's webpage, which is used to spread awareness of the viability of disabled pets, explains that little Pidg was in a car accident when she was young and left without use of her back legs. Three years after being adopted into this wonderful family, Pidgeon's sibling dogs have a hard time keeping up with her!

Pidgeon has a lot of fans on TikTok, including @Sandwoman, who says, "This made me so sad and so happy at the same time. Made me cry tears of sadness for her previous life and tears of happiness for her current life." @Explorergrl notes, "I'm handicapped and in a wheelchair. This warms my heart so much! Thank you!" Videos like these, especially when you can see the transformation of a neglected animal get the help and care they need, are always so touching.

Congrats to the wonderful family for welcoming Pidgeon into their hearts and homes and giving this beautiful baby a new chance at life.
