VisionF Yachts Just Delivered Two Sleek New 79-Foot Aluminum Catamarans

Launching one flagship is impressive in and of itself, but VisionF Yachts just delivered two.

The Turkish shipyard set afloat a new example of the all-aluminum VisionF 82 catamaran in October and November, respectively. One hull was sold to a European client, while the other was built on spec with the American market in mind. The latter is currently listed for sale, too.

VisionF says the new model has “no equivalents in the market today.” The interior and exterior were penned by the in-house design studio and are imbued with the yard’s DNA. Spanning just shy of 79 feet, the aluminum multihull is characterized by a modern exterior with an aggressive profile and extensive glazing. The beam of 32 feet ensures there’s a massive amount of main deck space both inside and out, too.

In terms of layout, a galley can be placed on the main deck adjacent to the airy salon (as seen in the unit built for the U.S. market) or on the lower deck (as with the example for the European client). The latter version also has a spacious office connected to the galley, as the owner plans to work aboard the yacht.

As for accommodation, the cat can sleep up to six seafarers and four crew. The lower deck is outfitted with three guest cabins, while the starboard hull is home to an owner’s suite with a large double bed, a wardrobe, and a spacious bathroom. The interior decor is described as “innovative, sleek, and modern.”

The exterior decks are nothing to sneeze at, either. The stern is equipped with a sofa, a dining table and a cozy sunbed, while the foredeck sports another, larger sunbed and a plush sunken lounge. The latter deck can also be used to store a Williams jet tender and a SeaDoo water scooter that can be launched and retrieved using a dedicated crane. Other highlights include a swim platform with direct access to the sea and a spacious flybridge designed for alfresco entertaining.

The VisionF 82 can perform on the water, too. Fitted with twin Volvo Penta IPS 1050 engines, the cat has a maximum speed of 16 knots and a range of 1,600 nautical miles. It also has a modest draft of just 2.6 feet, making it ideal for cruising in shallow waters. To top it off, seafarers can opt for an eco package that allows the yacht’s hotel load to operate for up to 20 hours without a generator.

“The VisionF 82 stands out from all catamarans with its power, capturing the interest of sea enthusiasts with its distinctive design and features that don’t sacrifice luxury,” Ali Tanir, general manager at VisionF Yachts, said in a statement. “It also offers a safe maritime environment with its comfort, big living areas, and sturdy aluminum hull.”

Founded in 2019 by Viaport Group’s owner Coskun Bayraktar, VisionF has launched four VisionF 80 catamarans over the past four years and plans to deliver two more VisionF 82 units by early next year. That duo can still be customized by future buyers, too.
