Do you want some elephant poop for your garden? Here's a way to get it.

NEW BEDFORD -- Grab your bidding paddles and get ready for the most exciting auction of the year at Buttonwood Park Zoo in which you can bid on the prized possession of elephant poop.

That's right, you read it correctly. The BPZoo is hosting their annual Zoo La La online auction, and this year they're not "monkeying around," with an auction item listed as organic, nutrient-rich elephant excrement from Ruth and Emily.

According to board member Molly Armando, the honorary dung is packed with all the good stuff that plants need to grow big and strong.

"It's like the ultimate superfood for your garden," she said.

The auction also includes craft beer packages with surprise goodies, mystery prizes and the chance to win an exclusive animal encounter with one of the zoo's residents.

Money raised will go towards environmental education, wildlife conservation and making the world a better place for all creatures big and small at the BPZoo.
