Ian Todd (L) and Joe Moskowitz (R) carry a mattress during a Detour in 'The Amazing Race 35'

Last week's episode of The Amazing Race 35 left things on a bit of a cliffhanger. After flight drama caused the first shakeup in the rankings, teams were thrown for a further loop when there were told to keep racing through Vietnam. That opens up the door for the teams struggling to survive elimination, and gives a chance for the top-performing teams to still have a fall from grace.

After an early morning navigating a frantic boat market and painstakingly working on rice paper and motorcycle vinyl decals, the 11 remaining teams thought their day would be open. But it has only just begun.

The sneak peek clip above shows three teams performing one side of this week's Detour task. Brothers Greg and John Franklin look upon the action at the other side of the Detour, wondering if they should switch. But given what the teams on that side are currently undergoing, perhaps they'd be better off with the fish.

In the video, we see father/son team Rob and Corey McArthur, engaged couple Joe Moskowitz and Ian Todd, and high school sweethearts Todd and Ashlie Martin become mattress delivery people, carrying the bedpieces by hand to various apartments around the city. But anyone who's ever moved knows how heavy mattresses can be. Add on another, and in the blazing Vietnamese sun, and you have a recipe for some drama. We see Joe and Ian and Todd and Ashlie struggle to navigate around the tight staircases of an apartment building, with Ian going so far as to call this the hardest thing he's ever done in his life. Still, they must push through get the mattresses to their rightful places, or risk becoming the team eliminated at the end of the day.

Check out the clip above for the full sneak peek. The Amazing Race 35 airs Wednesdays at 9:30 p.m. on CBS.
