The Bachelor Zach Shallcross had strong connections with all three of his final women but he had to let one go on Monday night’s week nine episode.

After eliminating fan favorite (and now The Bachelorette star) Charity Lawson last week, Zach still was courting Kaity Biggar, Gabi Elnicki and Ariel Frenkel as the show moved to Thailand.

The season 27 hunk had vowed not to have sex with any of them during fantasy suites week, but broke that vow.

He did, however, send one gal packing in an emotional rose ceremony.

Who has the strongest feelings for Zach?

As Monday’s show opened, Kaity, Gabi and Ariel all felt they had something special with Zach.

Ariel was particularly looking forward to her fantasy suite with him. “He makes me feel so good,” the NYC beauty cooed.

What was Zach’s no-sex plan?

The tech exec had decided not to have sex “of any kind for fantasy suites,” he told host Jesse Palmer.

On Monday night’s episode, Zach said, “When sex is involved, it can cause so many additional hurdles. Real feelings are at stake. It shouldn’t be taken lightly.”

What happened on Zach and Ariel’s one-on-one date?

In Thailand, the two ate bugs at a night street market!

They kissed amid fireworks and Ariel told the cameras, “I have never felt more connected to Zach. Sparks are literally flying.”

Later, at a restaurant, she said, “I cannot wait to be alone with Zach.”

They talked about their mutual love of adventure.

Ariel, who, as Parade.com reported, previously had a TV actor boyfriend, said she normally retreated in relationships.

But the brunette stunner said to Zach that she’d told her mom she was falling in love with him.

He gushed back, “I absolutely see a future with you.”

Did Zach and Ariel share a fantasy suite?

Zach told Ariel his no sex rule.

Sharing that moment “should be saved for engagement,” he said.

Ariel admitted to cameras that she was disappointed, but told the tech exec, “I understand your position.”

They got close during their fantasy suite anyway, kissing in a hot tub and waking up together in bed.

In confessional, Ariel said that they’d only had conversations—with no sex involved.

Did Zach have sex with Gabi?

Zach broke his no-sex stance and took Gabi to bed.

Feeling guilty, he later told Kaity he’d slept with one of his other women, without identifying Gabi.

Did Zach have sex with Kaity?

Kaity took the news badly and felt like walking off the show, but ultimately decided she could still move forward with Zach.

Meanwhile, Gabi was angry with Zach for sharing their intimacy with Kaity and as the show ended, wondered if she even wanted a rose!

What happened in the rose ceremony tonight?

Addressing the three ladies, vulnerable Zach said, “This week, I caused pain. I’ve made mistakes and I’m so sorry for that.

“It shatters my heart knowing I have to send one of you women home.”

He handed out a rose to Kaity, then gave his final remaining rose to Gabi.

Who went home on The Bachelor tonight?

That left Ariel, 28, out in the cold.

Zach walked her off the show and told her it was “easily the hardest thing I’ve had to do…I’m blessed to know you.”

Teary-eyed Ariel, whose Ukrainian father had slammed The Bachelor process, whispered, “I’m really happy I got to know you.”

They hugged and Ariel wished Zach “good luck.”

In her departure van, Ariel admitted to cameras, “It hurts a lot.”

She was sorry to see a potential future with Zach vanish and said, “I just wonder like when it’ll finally click and I’ll finally find that person that wants me above anyone else.”

Kaity and Gabi will find out Zach’s final choice during next week’s The Bachelor finale. A preview at the end of Monday’s show indicated that he plans to propose to his lady. Tune in!
