Here’s where PLANTERS’ NUTmobile is visiting when it comes to central Pennsylvania

GETTYSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — It is time to get nutty! The famous Planters NUTmobile is making its way to the central Pennsylvania area later this month.

The 26-foot-long NUTmobile will be in Gettysburg, Adams County, from June 26 to June 29, according to an email from one of the drivers.

The Adams County stop is one of many on the NUTmobile’s journey across the United States. Prior to coming to Gettysburg, the NUTmobile will be in Washington D.C. and is scheduled to end the tour in Cincinnati, Ohio, in late September.

The first peanut car was built in 1935 and was used by a salesman. Since, there have been other vehicle variations from PLANTERS, such as the Hot Road in 1999 and in 2014, two NUTmobile’s were introduced, but now both of them are used as getaways.
