Woman Who Adopted Senior Dog Highlights Other Aging Pups Who Need Loving Homes
Anyone who's welcomed a pet into their home knows just how life changing it can be. Even the tiniest dog can have the biggest impact on their owner's life, no matter what their story is. Rescue dogs can be especially loving and grateful for the lives they're given, but some dog owners like Kelly are impartial to a certain kind of rescue.
It's only been about a month since @kellysites adopted her senior Chihuahua, Charlie from Little Paws, Big Hearts in Columbia, MO, but the bond they share is unlike anything we've seen before. It's no surprise that she's encouraging others to adopt senior pets as well! In fact, she even shared the names of other older dogs she met in hopes of finding them loving forever homes. These Illinois and Missouri-based seniors couldn't be sweeter!

Aww! It's so inspiring to see these kindhearted older dogs getting the attention they deserve instead of being overlooked like they usually are. Of course, the next step would be to find them the perfect homes!
Kelly shared in the comment section, "I'm hoping the algorithm will put this video in front of these pups' future parents." We like the way you think, Kelly! All it takes is one view from the right person to match a dog with the perfect person. Carmen and her adorable puppy are both up for adoption at Little Paws, Big Hearts based in Columbia--the same animal shelter where Kelly adopted Charlie! Cosmos, Lynda, Deena, and Francesca are all residents at the windy city's Paws Chicago.
Wherever you are in the world, though, there are plenty of humane societies and animal shelters near you where you can adopt a loving senior animal. Like any rescue pet, they'll need some time to adjust to their new surroundings, but before you know it you'll have a bond like Kelly and Charlie's!
