Woman Gets Highly Unexpected Visitor While Feeding the Neighborhood Cats

There are some things you just have to see to believe. Whether it's a once-in-a-lifetime trick shot or someone saying the most random things post-surgery, a few things in life simply require video evidence. As people used to say--pics, or it didn't happen!

One kindhearted cat owner had one of these unbelievable moments on the night of October 9 while out feeding the neighborhood cats. She was two steps away from her front door, minding her business with the outdoor cats, when something started rustling in the bushes.

This sounds like the start of a horror movie, but I assure you it's not. When Dallas resident Caydos (AKA @sodyac) built up the courage to peek a the source of the noise, she was in for a hilarious surprise!

OMFG--it was a pot-bellied pig! That is one of the most random animals to find in the front yard hedges, so I can understand why Caydos immediately ran for her phone. The southern United States is home to a number of potentially dangerous critters, so I bet this generous cat owner was relieved AF, too. Did you see how quickly she tossed her cat inside?

Commenter @zod.e loved "The way ALL of you paused," when they heard the mysterious sound from the bushes, and I'd be lying if I said I didn't find it funny, too. Even the neighborhood cats knew something was up, but naturally, they left the detective work to their human friend.

The surprise piggy visitor turned out to be the neighbor's pet pig, who was returned home safely shortly after this debacle. She escaped from the backyard a few houses down, but her owners are going to be extra careful this time around! If not, the cats will likely have a regular visitor on their paws--since she already knows where the cat food is!
