Woman Makes Daring Rescue After Hummingbird Gets Trapped Inside House

Hummingbirds are amazingly beautiful creatures. With their green iridescent type feathers and the speedy way they zip around the air, these tiny birds are like a prize to see in the wild.

One woman got to see a hummingbird up close and personal when it accidentally flew into her house.

In the video posted on Instagram, the woman notices the little bird pecking at the window trying to get out. The little bird was so confused, and the woman jumped into action to make sure the bird got back outside.

She slowly approached the tiny bird and to her surprise, she perched right onto her hand. With the bird perched on her hand, the woman slowly made her way to the back door, where the hummingbird eventually flew off.

It was such a miracle that the little bird trusted the woman enough to sit on her hand. The harrowing rescue is a sign that even the smallest of beings can create a bond with humans, if only for a little while.

This bird could have seriously been injured, especially if the woman had cats in the house. Luckily, that wasn’t the case and the bird was able to be brought back to the wild safe and sound.

It’s almost impossible to see the hummingbird’s wings without a blur of motion. They are constantly hovering in the air and look almost ethereal. Despite the high stress situation inside the house, it must have been such a treat to see such a delicate creature up close and personal.

We’re so glad to see that this rescue mission was a success. It would be such a shame to see the little bird injured after constantly running into the window. She seems unphased by it, though, and was able to take a much needed rest on the woman’s hand before making her way back into the wild.

It’s such a miracle that the woman thought fast on her feet to rescue the sweet bird. Great work!
