Zoo celebrates Sip & Stroll while discovering iconic animals

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – Zoo officials are inviting guests 21 and up to explore the The Oklahoma City Zoo including the newly opened Expedition Africa, in discovering some of the world’s most iconic animals!

Attendees can experience Sip and Stroll with five highlighted zones throughout the Zoo, each featuring up-close animal experiences, beverages, and food inspired by wildlife and wild places!

On Friday, June 21, Sip and Stroll will celebrate PRIDE featuring a community station with LGBTQIA2S organizations distributing resources and information and a drag show, according to Zoo officials.

Specialty food items will include a hot honey chicken biscuit, carnitas street tacos, churro nachos, pork belly steam bun, and crab rangoon.

Guests must be 21 and up to attend. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Rain or shine event.

Don’t forget the Zoo has also added dates in 2024!

Dates: Friday, June 14, 21 (PRIDE), and 28
