$2 million scratch-off winner sold in NE Ohio

AMHERST, Ohio (WJW) – Someone who bought a scratch-off in Northeast Ohio won life-changing money.

According to a press release from the Ohio Lottery, a winner claimed $2,000,000 on the scratch-off game $2,000,000 Diamond Spectacular.

$70K of cocaine seized in bust on Ohio interstate

The ticket was sold at the DM Mart on Cleveland Ave. in Amherst.

The winner chose the cash option of $1,000,000. The take home after taxes is $720,000.

The $2,000,000 Diamond Spectacular is a $20 scratch-off with a top prize of $80,000 a year for 25 years.
