2 transported after rollover crash closes part of Highlands Ranch Parkway

DENVER (KDVR) — Part of Highlands Ranch Parkway was shut down Friday due to a rollover crash which led to two people being transported to a local hospital.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said westbound lanes were closed, but the roadway has since been reopened.

The sheriff’s office said the crash happened on Highlands Ranch Parkway near Wildcat Reserve Parkway in Highlands Ranch.

Details are limited, but the sheriff’s office released photos of the crash which showed one vehicle in the middle of the intersection, and another vehicle on its side off to the side of the road.

The conditions of the two people transported were unknown Friday evening.
