3.0 earthquake rattles Devore

An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 3.0 shook the Devore area on Thursday morning.

The earthquake was recorded at 10:18 a.m., with an epicenter just over a mile southeast of Devore, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The shaking emanated from about 6.3 miles underground, USGS data shows.

There were no initial reports of damage or injury.
