3 children found after missing in Arvada for nearly 24 hours

DENVER (KDVR) – Nearly 24 hours later, three missing children who were last seen around Terrace Park on Thursday afternoon were found on Friday morning.

A father from Colorado Springs told FOX31 that he dropped his three children off at a babysitter’s house in Arvada before heading to work on Thursday. The kids were seen around the park in the early afternoon, but when they didn’t come back, the caregiver began to worry, the Arvada Police Department told FOX31 in an interview.

“Just felt like I was a zombie, going around not knowing what to think, or if they were OK, if they weren’t. It’s the worst feeling in the world,” the father told FOX31.

On Friday at 10 a.m., police said the children were found and brought to the Denver Police Department by their grandfather.
