3 people, 2 dogs displaced in Rockville house fire

ROCKVILLE, Md. (DC News Now) — Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS) crews were at the scene of a house fire that broke out on Saturday afternoon in Rockville.

The fire happened in the 300 block of N. Horner’s Lane, near Crabb Avenue. The fire at the single-family home spread to the attic before crews were able to extinguish it.

MCFRS said three people and two dogs were displaced. No one was hurt.

The temperature on the scene was 98 degrees, with a feel-like temperature of 104 degrees according to first responders.
