4 arrested following Mt. Juliet shoplifting incident

MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WKRN) — Four people from Nashville were taken into custody Thursday after they reportedly tried to flee from a shoplifting incident at a Mt. Juliet Walmart.

The Mt. Juliet Police Department said its officers caught up to the four shoplifting suspects, three of whom were wanted while the fourth was a convicted felon in possession of drugs and a stolen gun.

According to authorities, the following four individuals were arrested on Thursday, June 20:

  • A 29-year-old man wanted out of Nashville for aggravated burglary, violation of domestic violence bond conditions, and two failure to appear warrants

  • A 23-year-old man wanted out of Nashville for probation violations

  • A 36-year-old woman wanted out of Nashville for probation violations

  • A 26-year-old man in possession of heroin, methamphetamine, and a handgun that was stolen from Nashville in 2020

Officials said all four people were charged with various crimes related to the drugs that were discovered.

No additional details have been released about the suspects’ identities or the shoplifting incident that led to their arrests.
