4 hospitalized after multi-vehicle crash in Holland

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Four people were hospitalized, including one who is in critical condition, following a multi-vehicle crash Thursday on Route 16 in the Town of Holland, an Erie County Sheriff’s Office official told WIVB News 4.

The crash occurred around 5:45 p.m. between Dutchtown Road and S. Protection Road, with three vehicles, including a tractor-trailer, involved and another two struck by debris, according to the ECSO.

One of the crash victims has been released, while the other three remain hospitalized.

The section of Route 16 was closed for just under three hours as a result of the crash.
