4 Middle TN products named finalists in ‘Coolest Thing Made in Tennessee’ contest
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Time is winding down to vote for Middle Tennessee products that made in the top 16 of the “Coolest Thing Made in Tennessee” contest.
According to a release, this is the Tennessee Manufacturers Association’s first-ever contest where residents determine what’s the coolest thing made in Tennessee.

Products named among the finalist include eclipse glasses, nail polishes, whiskey, candy, and much more.
“These diverse products are just a few examples showcasing how Tennessee’s business community is helping our state, region and country turn towards the future,” Bradley Jackson, President & CEO of the Tennessee Chamber of Commerce & Industry/Tennessee Manufacturers Association, said. “We’d encourage all Tennesseans to vote for and highlight some of their favorite products made right here in Tennessee.”
Four products made in the Middle Tennessee area made the list:
Nissan Rogue made in Rutherford County
Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey made in Moore County
Ideal Tridon’s worm gear clamp made in Rutherford County
Hitman Smoked Products gourmet flavored bacon made in Wayne County

Voting for the second round began on Tuesday, June 18 and ends on Monday, June 24. To vote for your favorite product, click here.
The winner of the on the Coolest Thing Made in Tennessee contest will be announced at a luncheon on July 25 at the Commons at PIE Innovation Center in Cleveland.
