5 Things to Do This Weekend – March 29-31

MOBILE, Ala. (Gulf Coast CW) — This Easter weekend is all about egg hunts and even Bloody Marys in Pensacola! Check out our list of 5 Things to Do This Weekend for March 29-31, 2024!

1- Bunnies & Baskets at OWA wraps up on Saturday! Get ready for things like a Golden Egg Hunt at Tropic Falls, a Bonnet Decoration competition, live music and Easter bunny photos. Admission is free! It all kicks off at noon and will go on until 6 p.m.

2- This weekend it’s the 8th annual community egg hunt in Saraland! This egg hunt will have more than 20,000 eggs to find, free games, nerf wars, hay rides and so much more. It’s hosted by the Fountain of Life Church at Amelia Park in Saraland. There’s also going to be a petting zoo! It all gets started Saturday morning at 10.

3- Saturday is the last day you can compete in the Golden Eggstravaganza at Gulf State Park. Park staff hid Golden prize-filled eggs within the boundaries of the park. The eggs can be exchanged for prizes ranging from park merchandise to camping gear. There’s also the grand prize of a two-night stay at The Lodge with breakfast for two and a VIP Guided Hike in the park. Each Golden Egg will have instructions on how to claim your prize. 4- EGGAWAHOOZA is back in beautiful downtown Pensacola. This is an egg hunt at Blue Wahoo’s Stadium with over 50,000 eggs! All babies and kiddos are welcome from 0–2-year-olds to those in 5th grade. There will also be specific areas for kids with special needs. That’s Saturday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

5- The Bloody Mary Festival in Pensacola is happening on Saturday. A panel of expert judges will crown the most outstanding Bloody Mary creation. You can enjoy unlimited bloody mary tastings from the area’s finest bars and restaurants. There will also be food trucks, live music, vendor booths, games and more.
