$5K reward offered for information on whereabouts of missing Plymouth man

PLYMOUTH – A $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the return of a missing Plymouth man who was last seen Tuesday,

Police and the children of Rodney Riviello are seeking the public's help in locating the 69-year-old, who suffers from memory and reasoning issues, since he was last seen leaving Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth around 11:15 a.m. June 18.

Riviello's children, Dan and Michelle, held a press conference with police officials the following day to raise awareness of his disappearance. They said he had hurt himself in a fall and went to the hospital to get checked out. His daughter said her father, who lives in the Manomet section of Plymouth, had been issued a taxi voucher home but appears to have grown impatient waiting for the ride and left without his wallet or phone.

He may have received a ride at the hospital from someone in a silver Nissan Armada. Hospital security footage shows someone wearing the same sneakers as Riviello's getting into the car shortly after noon Tuesday. Police are asking for that driver to get in touch with them.

HIs disappearance has coincided with this week's heat wave, giving his children extra cause for concern.

The reward notice says that in addition to Plymouth, Riviello has ties to Provincetown and Boxboro, as well Clyde and Brooklyn, New York.
