$70K of cocaine seized in bust on Ohio interstate

BUTLER COUNTY, Ohio (WJW) – A Texas man was jailed in Ohio following a traffic stop on I-75.

According to information from the Butler County Sheriff’s Office, deputies stopped a vehicle at around 8 a.m. on Thursday, June 20.

The stop was made by the highway interdiction unit, a team that targets drug trafficking.

The unit K-9 alerted the vehicle, according to the Butler County sheriff.

Deputies seized 2.2 lbs of cocaine, which they say has a street value of $70,000, the sheriff reported.

Bryan Miller, 53, of Galveston, Texas, was arrested on charges of drug trafficking and possession.

He was the only person in the vehicle.

Deputies also seized a 40-caliber handgun and ammunition. Miller faces weapons charges in connection with the gun.
