9 injured in west Charlotte bus crash: Medic

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Nine people are injured from crash involving a Charlotte Area Transit System bus in west Charlotte Friday afternoon.

According to Medic officials, the incident occurred around 2:15 p.m. June 21 at the intersection of Tuckaseegee Road and Ashley Road. One person was transported to the hospital with minor injuries and eight others via the Mass Casualty Bus, who also had minor injuries.

CATS officials say a privately owned vehicle rear-ended the bus, operating Route 8.
