Archives ceremony to remember Horton legacy

May 28—The Morgan County Archives will hold the Judge James E. Horton Day of Courage on June 22 from noon until 1 p.m.

The ceremony will remember Horton's legacy of overseeing the Scottsboro Boys trial.

Retired Circuit Court Judge Glenn E. Thompson will be the guest speaker at the ceremony sponsored by The Decatur Scottsboro Boys and Civil Rights Museum Board.

The Morgan County Archives is at 624 Bank St. N.E.
