Arkansas Storm Team Forecast: Heat becomes more dangerous into the weekend
Expect more sunshine and more heat into Friday afternoon. Highs reach the mid-90s with heat index values into the upper 90s. Then overnight, we’re partly clear with lows in the mid-70s.
With more sunshine through the weekend, temperatures continue to climb. Upper 90s with heat index values above 100 will be likely, especially into early next week as heat index readings exceed 105. Heat advisories will likely be issued at some point. Drink plenty of water and stay cool to protect yourself from heat-related illnesses.
