Some of the book’s authors are from Carlisle. It tells a story of a shooting.

One of the artists shared why she wanted to take part in the show.

“I really wanted to do this piece because I just am really scared about all this violence going on in the world and when my brother was in school I thought about like what’s gonna happen to him, he could get killed at any moment,” Micah Davis-Culbertson said.

Twenty pieces of art made by 18 artists were on display. They ranged in format from digital to painting to textile.
