Baton Rouge Police: Help us find 3 people who broke into River Center, did $50K in damage

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Baton Rouge Police Department is asking for help locating a teen and two unknown suspects accused of causing around $50,000 in damages to a local venue.

Police said Javin Thomas and two others —  one male and one female — are accused of illegally going into the Raising Cane’s River Center at 275 South River Road and causing around $50,000 in damages.

BRPD said the trio got into the building around 1 a.m. Tuesday, June 18.

According to an affidavit, police determined via security footage that the suspects threw a brick through a door to get in and then sprayed fire extinguishers through the halls. Investigators said empty fire extinguishers were thrown at six 80-inch TVs, worth an estimated $5,000 each, and vending machines.
