Beloved Santa Clara restaurant closes after over 50 years in business

(KRON) – A Santa Clara restaurant that has been in business since 1972 is set to close its doors. Fiorillo Restaurant has announced the establishment’s last day of operation will be Saturday.

The Italian restaurant posted on its website, “Friends, Yes it’s true! After 52 incredible years in business, the Fiorillo family has decided to close our doors. Our last day in business will be Saturday, June 22, 2024. Over the years many of you have become like family we thank you for your kindness and support all these years. Hopefully, we will see you on or before June 22. Thank you again.”

The eatery is known for its East Coast Italian American cooking style using family recipes. According to the restaurant, in 52 years of serving the Santa Clara community, its philosophy was “top-notch ingredients produce the best food.”
