Big day for seniors: Here's a recap of graduation ceremonies from around Norwich area
The graduates have suffered through their last set of final exams, turned in the last of their books and computers, and celebrated with friends at the prom and a variety of senior events designed to create memories and mark this important transition in their lives.
For the Class of 2024, the graduation ceremony marked the last time the class was together before going their separate ways, whether that be work, college or the military.
Below is when the Class of 2024 received their diplomas:
Norwich Free Academy commencement took place on Thursday, June 13 on the school's turf field.
Griswold's Class of 2024 graduated Thursday, June 13 in the Griswold High School Gymnasium.
Killingly's Class of 2024 received their diplomas on Friday, June 14.
Plainfield's Class of 2024 graduated on Friday, June 14 on the Plainfield High football field.
Norwich Tech held graduation on Thursday, June 20 on the sports field behind the school.
