Billie Trump named new Interim City Manager for Beckley

BECKLEY, WV (WVNS) — Longtime Beckley mayor Rob Rappold is set to leave office for good on on June 30, 2024.

But first, Mayor Rappold said he would appoint an interim city manager for the City of Beckley, the first city manager in the history of Beckley. Well, that person has been named as Rappold appointed Billie Trump as the new Interim City Manager for Beckley.

This will be Beckley’s first city manager since its creation.

The interim city manager is slated to serve until Beckley Common Council appoints a permanent city manager.
