The event raises awareness and funds to educate and support those dealing with mental health issues by providing free and reduced cost therapy, counseling, and more.

Dorgan said he was overwhelmed by the support this weekend.

“They’re bearing the heat to come out and support and break the stigma around mental health,” Dorgan said. “It’s amazing. When we kicked it off, we had several thousand people that were here for it in the heat.”

Dorgan said his daughter was on a mission to help those around her, so this is fulfilling her wish.
