Friday's (June 21) episode of Celebrity Gogglebox saw Nick Grimshaw reveal his biggest complaint about Countdown.

After watching an episode of the Channel 4 game show, the presenter explained his frustration with the show's format to his niece Liv.

"I'm good at Countdown but not against the timer," he said.

"Which I know is the premise of the show, but if it was just Countdown but just answer it when you want, when you get round to it, I'd be really good."

The episode featured 16-year-old genius Arthur Page, who impressed the celebrity viewers with his unique knowledge.

"I haven't watched [the show] since Carol Vorderman," admitted Jennifer Saunders as she caught up on the new series.

Mo Gilligan went on to explain that Americans don't understand the concept of the show, saying: "I tried to describe this to Americans, they didn't have a clue.

"They're like, 'so what do you do' and I say, 'you've got to get the words but you're time is going down'. They say, 'why do you guys watch that?' It's a British institution, don't question it."
