Central Alabama saw two EF-1 Tornadoes within ten minutes of each other last night

BIRMINGHAM, Ala (WDHN) — Last night, June 5, two EF-1 tornadoes ripped through northwestern Central Alabama, causing winds upwards of 95 mph.

The first EF-1 tornado was near Bexar in Marion county, and the second was near Winfield in Fayette and Marion. Neither tornado lasted longer than 10 minutes and both started and ended between 6:50 and 7:02 p.m..

Storm damage has been reported, but thankfully, no injuries or loss of life.
