Chalmette man arrested for alleged possession of drugs, guns

ST. BERNARD PARISH, La. (WGNO) — A Chalmette man is facing several gun and drug-related charges following an investigation by the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Division Narcotics Unit.
Amite man arrested in attempted murder of infant and elderly man
According to the SBSO deputies, on Friday, June 21, 38-year-old Timothy Kinkella was arrested on accusations of:
Possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, cocaine, and various prescription medications
Possession of marijuana
Possession of a firearm while in possession of a controlled dangerous substance
Convicted felon in possession of a firearm
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Man arrested in Violet on several narcotics charges
Deputies said during an investigation they also found six firearms.
Kinkella was booked into the St. Bernard Parish Prison where he is being held on a bond of $446,750.
Sheriff James Pohlmann said anyone looking to report suspected illegal drug activity in the parish to call the narcotics hotline at 504-271-DOPE or 3673.
