City of Monroe announces Wednesday closure due to power outages

Mayor Friday Ellis announced the closure of City of Monroe nonessential facilities and only essential workers will be present Wednesday, due to power outages in several City buildings. This includes City Court and the Louisiana Purchase Gardens and Zoo.
