Have coffee and chat with state senator

COVENTRY — State Senator Jeff Gordon will have a coffee and chat with patrons of the Coventry Senior Center this morning from 9:30-11:00 a.m.
Gordon will be speaking with those who attend the coffee and chat at the Coventry Senior Center.
The Coventry Senior Center will be hosting the event along with the veterans coffee hour and the American Legion Post 52.
“Senator Gordon will be giving us an update on what came out of the legislative session,” Coventry Senior Center Coordinator Brenda Bennett said.
Bennett said that every quarter the Senior Center co sponsors the coffee hour.
“We always try to have interesting guest speakers. Manny Rodrigues invited the senator to be the guest speaker,” she said.
