Coleman police seeking assistance in locating burglary suspect

COLEMAN, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) — The Coleman Police Department is asking for public assistance in locating a burglary suspect.

On June 22 at about 3:05 a.m., police responded to a burglar alarm at RMC Pawn Shop located at 117 East Pecan Street. Officers found several pieces of jewelry, coins, and cash had been stolen.

Images were captured of the suspect and his vehicle. The suspect was wearing a long-sleeved, button-up shirt with dark trousers. The shirt is believed to be blue or dark, although some of the video shows it to be a lighter color. Additionally, the suspect was wearing a camouflage face mask that covered everything except for his eyes and a pair of goggles on his head.

The vehicle is described as a blue or dark-colored Ford F150 extended-cab pickup from the late 1990s to early 2000s. It also has a black toolbox and a small dent on the front passenger-side quarter panel.

At least one additional suspect was involved, who was driving the vehicle. The suspect vehicle was observed leaving the burglary scene, heading south in the alley between Commercial Avenue and Colorado Street.

If you have any information about the burglary or recognize the suspect or suspect vehicle, please call the Coleman Police Department at 325-625-4114.
