Congressman Alex Mooney running for Senate in 2024

GHENT, WV (WVNS) — With the Primaries coming up on May 14th, Congressman Alex Mooney will be running for Senate.

West Virginia could become the 12th state to ban smoking in cars with kids present

He will be running against Republican candidates, Jim Justice, Bryan Bird, Zane Lawhorn, Don Lindsay, Bryan McKinney, and Janet McNulty.

Although he was passionate about many issues affecting the Mountain State, 59News was able to get an exclusive interview with Congressman Mooney expressing, if elected, why he would stand out from the other candidates and what he would do for the state of West Virginia.

“Spending’s out of control. Inflation’s out of control, interest rates, people see this. If you want a fighter, I’m your only option, and I think West Virginia deserves a Conservative fighter. That’s what I offer,” said Congressman Alexander Mooney.

Congressman Mooney also expressed that he would be the best representative and choice to help the residents of the Mountain State and help with any issue they may face.
