Country, R&B, comedy. Macon’s new amphitheater will have something for everyone
Macon has always been a legendary music spot, serving as a starting place for The Allman Brothers Band, Little Richard, Otis Redding and most recently, Jason Aldean.
Macon is the place to be for musicians and music-lovers and it’s going to get better: the new Atrium Health Amphitheater is holding its first concert in March, with plenty more to come.
Here’s the full lineup, including artists, dates and ticket information:
Lynyrd Skynyrd and ZZ Top
When: March 24 at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets: Seated tickets start at $80, lawn tickets are $40.50 (plus applicable taxes and fees). Tickets can be purchased online or at the Macon Coliseum Box Office on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Riley Green
Riley Green will bring his “Ain’t My Last Rodeo Tour” to Macon with support from Tracy Lawrence and Ella Langley.
When: April 4 at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets: Seated tickets start at $62, lawn tickets are $32 (plus applicable taxes and fees). Tickets can be purchased online or at the Macon Coliseum Box Office.
Anthony Hamilton, Johnny Gill and Leela James
These R&B superstars will play at the Atrium Health Amphitheater and will be accompanied by DJ Smooth.
When: April 13 at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets: Seated tickets start at $79 and lawn tickets are $45 (plus applicable taxes and fees).
Turnpike Troubadours
This concert will feature support from The Red Clay Strays and Brent Cobb.
When: April 27 at 7 p.m.
Tickets: Tickets start at $39.50 and can be purchased online or at the box office.
Ashanti, Monica, Mya and Keke Wyatt
When: May 24 at 7:30
Tickets: Tickets start at $49 and can be purchased online or at the box office.
Bert Kreischer
Bert Kreischer and friends will break up the music and bring the laughs to the Atrium Health Amphitheater this summer.
When: June 12 at 7 p.m.
Tickets: Presale online tickets go on sale March 8 at 10 a.m.
Dwight Yoakam
When: June 13 at 7 p.m.
Tickets: Seated tickets start at $59, lawn tickets are $39 (plus applicable taxes and fees). Tickets can be purchased online starting March 8 at 10 a.m.
Lauren Daigle
Lauren Daigle is bringing her “The Kaleidoscope Nights” tour to Macon’s new amphitheater.
When: July 31 at 7 p.m.
Tickets: Seated tickets start at $45.75, lawn tickets are $35.75 (plus applicable taxes and fees). Tickets go on sale March 8.
Justin Moore and Randy Houser
When: Sept. 7 at 7 p.m.
Tickets: Seated tickets start at $39.50, lawn tickets are $35 (plus applicable taxes and fees).
Jason Aldean
When: Oct. 5 at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets: Seated tickets start at $45.75, lawn tickets are $35.75 (plus applicable taxes and fees). Tickets can be purchased online or at the box office in Macon.
