Crystal City Martial Arts to host grand opening celebration

PAINTED POST, N.Y. (WETM) – Crystal City Martial Arts is celebrating its grand opening with various celebrations beginning this weekend.

Formally the USA Masters Academy, the new martial arts center located at 140 Village Square, is celebrating its grand opening with an event this Sunday and a ribbon-cutting ceremony to follow on Monday. Both events are free and open to the public.

Light’s Cafe in Horseheads relocating after nine months

Beginning on Sunday, June 23, the celebration will include a black belt testing at 10 a.m., a convocation at 2 p.m. and a celebration and open house at 4 p.m. During this time, those who attend will have the opportunity to tour the facility and speak with the instructors.

On Monday, June 24, a ribbon-cutting ceremony will occur at 10:30 a.m. Light refreshments will be available after the ceremony.
