Cumberland man jailed in South End assault complaint

Jun. 20—CUMBERLAND — A city man was jailed without bond Wednesday after he was arrested in connection with an assault that left the victim with multiple injuries, according to Cumberland Police.

Police took Timothy Dwight Bickling, 40, into custody on charges of second-degree assault and disorderly conduct in connection with the alleged incident that occurred Monday in the 200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.

Bickling remained jailed Thursday at the Allegany County Detention Center after he was ordered confined without bond, pending bail review in district court.

It was not disclosed if the victim sought medical treatment.
