Dalmatia man charged with felony retail theft from Lewisburg Walmart

Jun. 21—LEWISBURG — A Dalmatia man with previous retail theft convictions stole more than $380 worth of merchandise from Walmart in Lewisburg, according to state police in Milton.

Logan Roley Shaffer, 27, of Small Cut Road, Dalmatia, was charged a felony count of retail theft; and a misdemeanor count of theft by unlawful taking. The charges were filed by state Trooper Matthew Chamberlain, of the Milton State Police Barracks, in the Lewisburg office of District Judge Jeffrey Rowe.

Shaffer on Tuesday took two SSD computer hard drives, a computer keyboard and a gray fleece hoodie, all valued at $383, from Walmart, 120 AJK Blvd., Kelly Township, according to court documents. He then took an employee's scanning phone valued at $399.99, police said.

Shaffer left the store without paying for the items, police said.

Shaffer has six previous retail convictions, police said.
