Residents had already evacuated before the arrival of the crews, who were able to contain the fire before it spread to adjacent properties, according to the fire officials.

A resident reportedly suffered a minor smoke inhalation and was treated at the scene. A firefighter also had a minor injury, was transported to hospital, and has since been released. The cause of the blaze is still being investigated. The affected residents will be provided accommodations by the American Red Cross for the time being, fire officials said.
