CLEVELAND (WJW) — Downtown Citizen Pie Roman Cafe will close Sunday as owners plan to consolidate operations to the West 25th Street location.

Blazing Paddles Paddlefest postponed due to high temperatures

According to a Thursday Facebook post: “E 4th is increasingly becoming a sports and entertainment-focused neighborhood. We are currently in discussions with several operators with concepts that better serve that audience.”

The post also states moving operations to the West 25th Street location will give them a way to “more organically expand the concept in the future.”

There’s also a location on Waterloo Road in Collinwood.

Shorter days: See how much daylight we’ll lose this month

At its Collinwood and West 25th Street locations, Citizen Pie specializes in wood-fired and neopolitan-inspired pies. The cafe focused on Roman-style to-go slices and pizzas.

The cafe opened in 2020.
