Eastbound I-10 backed up near Indio; expect delays up to two hours
Traffic is backed up along eastbound Interstate 10 between Dillon Road/Exit 146 and the Cactus City Safety Rest Area due to a semi-truck fire Saturday afternoon. Drivers should expect delays of up to two hours.
As of 3:30 p.m. Saturday, eastbound traffic is moving at speeds of 5 miles per hour. A Sig Alert has been in effect since 2:19 p.m.
Two westbound lanes are closed for a paving project, but traffic remains unaffected.
