EastEnders is set to air the aftermath of Sonia Fowler and Reiss Colwell's pregnancy tragedy.

Sonia has been under a significant amount of stress this week, which caused her to start bleeding. She was later rushed to hospital to undergo a series of tests to see whether her pregnancy was at risk.

After not hearing a heartbeat during the scans, Sonia and Reiss were told by a doctor that she was never pregnant.

In scenes set to air on Monday, June 10, the mood is tense at No. 25 as Reiss tries to offer his support to Sonia, while a disapproving Bianca watches on.

Sonia later reveals that she wants to try IVF again, which Reiss agrees to, but begins to worry when Sonia reveals that they'll need more money to begin the process.

In an effort to get some cash, Reiss tries to get Jay to buy his car, but he refuses. Will Reiss be able to find the money for the fertility treatment?

Next week will also see Reiss worry after a deal with a major client falls through, though he chooses to keep his money troubles from Sonia.

Bianca later overhears Reiss asking for more money from Debbie at the care home, before the pair get into a heated argument.

Bianca then provides Reiss with an ultimatum, warning that Sonia will know one way or the other about his actions, but that it was his choice to tell her otherwise she would.

The soap confirmed that The Football Factory's Roland Manookian will portray Stevie's son Teddy, while Dead's Elijah Holloway and Lewis Bridgeman will play Teddy's sons Harry and Barney.

"I've been watching EastEnders my whole life, so being part of it is amazing," said Manookian in a statement. "Coming in as a Mitchell means you've got big shoes to fill, but it's a challenge that I'm happy to accept."
